The recently formed Bridge group of artists in Tavira was inspired by the Cavalo Verde group of painters that have worked here for many years.The original Cavalo Verde painters form a major part of the Bridge, and the aims of the group remain the same:-To provide a meeting place for arts practitioners to debate, propagate, and support arts activities in Tavira and the Eastern Algarve.To encourage and support the growth of cultural activities in and around Tavira.To provide a social network for the exchange of creative thinking and ideas.To promote Tavira as an environment for the exchange of creative thinking and ideas.To establish Tavira as a potential working environment for Portuguese, European and International artists, writers, film makers, performers, musicians.

I can feel it…aaaaaaagggghhh…we must be strong,
to see that we can take it…we^ve been wandering in the dark far too long…aaghhhhh…BE STRONG…! Don`t give up, even if the neighbour should start to say good afternoon, or the sun should fall down on Algarve, right in the center of Tavira…
Preserve the nature…pickle a squirell…and don`t forget: Give the anarchist a sigarett…!
